I’m so glad you all are able to do this work. I read an article about the “culture war” between social conservatives and social liberals. It’s good to know that good people are stepping up and speaking out for the family.

This issue is so important. The Church could face challenges soon, if we don’t pass an ammendment in CA. I can say activists suing for bishops to perform marriages, and even suing for temple marriages. Some wording will definately have to change in the recommend process.
The is currently a bill on Schwarzeneggers day for approval of a Harvey Milk Day. It has already passed both houses. He was an openly gay San Francisco supervisor who was assasinated in 1978, along with Mayor Moscone. This would mean schools will be required to acknowledge him on Harvey Milk Day. I don’t have a problem with that if he had made some major contribution to the state, but that is not what is at issue.
