Out of the HOT sun

For the 4th of July we went to the cabin. We had a blast! That place keeps getting more and more fun for us. We arrived about 7:00 on Friday night and were warmly welcomed by the Woods, Andersons, Kings, and Mamama and Papa Dad. As we drove into the driveway they came out wearing patriotic hats and headbands, waving flags, and cheering wildly for us! We could get used to that kind of greeting! Then they put hats and headbands on us, gave us flags and started the music for a fun patriotic family dance and sparklers.

Saturday, we went fishing at Fred’s Lake with everyone, and although it was a very fun and successful fishing trip overall, none of us Stubblefields caught anything.

That evening we had a fire, made smores, and Jackson and Dad headed to the fireworks while the tired girls went to bed.

One or two of the days we walked down to the train house… and I think his newest addition is our favorite:

We went down to woodland lake to catch some crawdads one evening.

We played hard all day every day with cousins – What a great time!
